Jolly Sicily Tour

1st Day /Saturday : PALERMO
Independent arrival at the Jolly Hotel Palermo. Welcome drink, dinner and overnight.

2nd Day/Sunday : PALERMO - MONREALE - PALERMO
After the buffet breakfast, visit of Palermo with its historical centre and Monreale with its Cathedral , one of the most beautiful monument in the world. Visit of the Cloister . Lunch at the hotel . Afternoon at leisure or optional excursion to the middle-age town of Erice, placed at 800 mtrs (payable on the spot). Dinner and overnight at Jolly Hotel.

3rd Day/Monday : PALERMO-SEGESTA-AGRIGENTO-PALERMO
After the buffet breakfast departure to Segesta and visit of the doric Temple and the Theater placed in a
wonderful and suggestive landscape. Continue to Agrigento: lunch in a panoramic restaurant viewing the Temples and visit of the Valley including the Temple of Juno, Concord, Heracles, Zeus, Castor and Pollux. In the afternoon return to Palermo. Dinner and overnight.

4th Day/Tuesday : PALERMO - ENNA - PIAZZA ARMERINA - SIRACUSA
After the buffet breakfast departure to Enna: geographical and historical epicentre of Sicily, placed on the top of a hill ; on clair days, you can make out the African Sea, the Sicilian mountains and the Mount Etna. Continue to Piazza Armerina crossing the inland of Sicily. Lunch in a local restaurant. Visit of the Villa Romana del Casale worldwide famous for its well preserved mosaics.
Continue to Siracusa. Dinner and overnight at Jolly hotel.

5th Day/Wednesday : SIRACUSA - MOUNT ETNA - MESSINA
After the buffet breakfast, visit of the Archaeological area including the famous Latomie of the Paradise and the Dyonisios "Ear" as well as visit of the island of Ortigia, singular treasure of the baroque style. Continue to the Mount Etna, the highest active volcano of Europe: arrival at 1800 mtrs. Possibility of ascent till 3000 mtrs (payable on the spot). A packet lunch will be distributed to those who desire to ascent to 3000 mtrs. Buffet lunch to passengers who prefer to stay at 1800 mtrs. Departure to Messina. Panoramic tour of the city of the Straight. Dinner and overnight.

6th Day/Thursday : MESSINA - REGGIO CALABRIA - TAORMINA - MESSINA
Buffet breakfast, embark to reach Reggio Calabria and visit of the archaeological museum with its "Bronzi di Riace" . Return to Messina and lunch in the panoramic restaurant with view on the Straight. In the afternoon departure to Taormina, visit of the Greek Theater and time at leisure for shopping or walking around the tiny streets. Dinner in a famous restaurant of the centre. Return to Messina and overnight.

7th Day/Friday : MESSINA - CAPO D'ORLANDO - CEFALU' - PALERMO
Buffet breakfast and departure to Palermo. Stop at Tindari to admire the beautiful view over the sea and visit of the archaeological area. Drive to Capo d'Orlando and time to swim or to walk enjoying of the beach and some reserved rooms at the hotel restaurant near the sea. Lunch at the hotel restaurant. Continue to Cefalù. Stop for visit the town and its Cathedral. Arrival in Palermo. Farewell dinner at the hotel and possibility of an optional evenings "Palermo by night" with live traditional music (payable on the spot). Overnight.

8th Day/Saturday : PALERMO
Buffet breakfast. End of the Tour.
